Activity 3: Write a short paragraph describing three ways in which  databases can be useful. Give an example after each way.

Read the model paragraph describing possible uses of Microsoft Word. Write a similar paragraph about Microsoft Access.

Microsoft Word is a word processing program that has many uses. Word can be used to write many different documents, such as letters, reports or notes. People also use Word to create labels. For example, Word can produce address labels, labels for file folders and labels for books. Finally, Word can be used to create flyers and announcements for events, including sales, parties and meetings. Word is a vary popular program, and it is easy to see why!
