 A Webtask for adult learners

Write a short response to the following questions. To move from one line to another, click on the next line or use the TAB key on your keyboard.

A. In the reading you finished, we used the analogy (comparison) of plumbing to describe the Internet. Think of other comparisons that would describe the system. Complete the sentences below.

B. What are keywords? 


C. Write two examples of general keywords followed by more specific keywords on the same topic. For example: "fish -- salt-water fish." "mountain -- highest peak in the world." 

D. Write the name of five topics that you would like to know more about. Next to that topic, type a few keywords that you will use to use in your search.





E. Write a few comments on your Search experience. Did you find what you wanted? What did you learn?
