You prefer to do more than one thing at a time although you sometimes don't finish what you start.

Description

Gemini, the sign of the Twins, is dual-natured. Gemini is a masculine air sign. It is linked with Mercury, the planet of childhood and youth. Therefore, as a Gemini, you show the graces and faults of the young. Like a child, you are lively, imaginative, and happy. You can also be very restless and sometimes self-centered. To a Gemini, life is a game which must always be full of fresh moves and continuous entertainment. Geminis want to be free of labor and routine. Geminis often change their minds about things as they consider all of the options in front of them.

Geminis may appear complex and sometimes contradictory. They tend to be affectionate, courteous, kind, generous, and thoughtful towards the poor and suffering. Most Gemini have a sharp, intuitive, and sometimes brilliant intelligence. They love cerebral challenges. But their concentration, though intense for a while, does not last. Their mental agility and energy give them a strong appetite for knowledge, but they dislike the labor of learning. They easily grasp almost everything requiring intelligence and mental ability. Their intellect is strongly analytical and sometimes gives them an ability to see both sides of a question. Therefore, they often vacillate and find it hard to make final decisions.

In love they are fickle - not to hurt anyone but because of the basic changes in their emotional nature. There is a side to Geminians which can become deeply involved emotionally. There is another side that can become hostile to sentimentality. Geminis can stand back from a romantic situation and analyze it. They can laugh at it and those involved, including themselves. Gemini subjects take few things seriously. So, in love, the intensity of involvement lasts only while it is new. They like intrigue, but they lose interest and look around for the next thing or person to pursue. In less serious situations they make witty and entertaining companions. Even at their worst they are never dull. They usually have a playfulness below the surface.

Gemini colors are yellow and light blue, and mixed colors. Your birthstone is the agate, like the multi-faceted Geminian personality. Gemini flowers include the lilac, azalea, and lily-of-the-valley.

Geminians can be successful in many walks of life. They are often skilled debaters, diplomats, orators, preachers, teachers, authors, poets, journalists, or lawyers. In business, they like any work which combines mental agility with a change of surroundings; working as a traveling salesperson, brokerage work, or dealing with the public in any capacity is right up their alley. Because they are logical, rational and analytical, they make good scientists, especially in the fields of medicine and astronomy. They can also make excellent members of the Armed Forces, for they take danger no more seriously than anything else. In the arts they may excel in music, painting and sculpture. They make good psychic researchers of a skeptical kind.

Suggestions on Handling Difficult Situations

As a Gemini you may see things below that really strike home. If you try the solution or suggestions, you most likely will be amazed at the results.

CHALLENGE: Being superficial could be a big problem for you in your overall relationships. You also have difficulty getting ahead on many jobs where you have to dig deep and learn something thoroughly.
SUGGESTION: Make a real effort to control this aspect. Recognize it and be patient with yourself as you learn new skills. If you make a commitment to something or someone, take it seriously and mentally force yourself to keep that commitment where possible. This will be hard but it can, and has been, done by many under this sign.

CHALLENGE: You are not one who cares for peace and quiet. You can create your own problems with loved ones by picking arguments.
SUGGESTION: While this may relieve your boredom, it is something that you should not let happen. This could easily go out of control and cost you the love and companionship that you want. When you feel like doing this it would be better to take a long walk and let the feelings pass.

CHALLENGE: Boredom is one of your biggest problems and you could easily get into trouble if you don't find positive ways to deal with your boredom.
SUGGESTION: You have a great many creative talents. Put these to work for you in some sort of hobby or project. That way, you will find you do not have time to be bored. Also, start other physical activities like workouts at the gym, racquetball, hiking, etc..

CHALLENGE: You could have health problems brought on by overindulgence of food, drink, or the night life, which only gets worse as you age.
SUGGESTION: Tame your urges and save the party times for weekends. Even then, do not overdo it. By keeping your life in balance, you may not have to fight off diseases such as obesity or cirrhosis of the liver.

CHALLENGE: You may not be able to keep a spouse or a lover due to your pursuit of the opposite sex.
SUGGESTION: Cultivate the habit of not flirting with every attractive person you see. Make up your mind to be a true and loving spouse. Don't commit until you are really ready to do this.
